How we work
Documented with every order
Every product you order comes with a certificate of analysis. It shows what was tested for that product, the results and the test date.
Laboratory-tested
Every product we list has a certificate of analysis from a testing facility we work with, so you can see the tests that were run and their results before you order.
Full-panel testing
We do full-panel testing. Our full panel includes purity, identity, net content, endotoxin, heavy metals and contaminant screening. Each certificate of analysis reports the results of the tests run for that product.
Built for qualified researchers
Our catalog is for researchers aged 21 and over who confirm that they are qualified to use research materials and that they will use them only for in-vitro laboratory research.
Members-only access
Our catalog, prices and ordering are available to registered members only. Creating a free account takes about a minute: you confirm your age and our research-use-only terms, and verify your email address.

Each certificate of analysis shows:
- The product tested
- The tests that were run
- The results of each test
- The test date
What the tests tell you
- PurityPurity by HPLC shows what share of the detected material in a sample is the target peptide.
- IdentityIdentity confirmation checks that the sample is consistent with the compound named on the certificate.
- Net contentNet content reports the measured amount of peptide in the tested sample.
- ScreeningContaminant screening checks the sample for things that can interfere with laboratory work, such as endotoxin and heavy metals.
Plain-language glossary
Terms used on this page and on certificates of analysis.
- Research use only
- Research use only means the material is sold for laboratory research. It is not intended for human or animal use, or for diagnosis or treatment.
- In vitro
- Latin for “in glass”. Work done in a laboratory dish, tube or similar vessel, outside a living organism.
- Peptide
- A short chain of amino acids joined by peptide bonds.
- Certificate of analysis
- A document that reports laboratory test results for a sample of a specific product: what was tested, the results and the test date.
- Full panel
- A set of laboratory tests run together on one product. Our full panel includes purity, identity, net content, endotoxin, heavy metals and contaminant screening.
- HPLC
- High-performance liquid chromatography: a laboratory technique that separates the components of a sample so that each can be measured.
- Mass spectrometry
- A technique that measures the mass of molecules. It is used to check that a sample is consistent with the expected compound.
- Net content
- The measured amount of peptide in a sample, usually reported in milligrams.
- Endotoxin
- A molecule from the outer membrane of certain bacteria that can interfere with cell-based experiments. Endotoxin screening checks a sample against a stated limit.
